At 08h00 we are met by our guide and safari vehicle, in the reception area of our pre-accommodation hotel in Arusha (hotel in Arusha own expense). Our 240 km to Serengeti National Park, is a journey of about six hours. Serengeti, meaning "endless plains" in the local language, offers breath-taking views of vast grasslands merging with the horizon. Covering 14,763 sq. km, the park is home to the "Big 5" (elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion, and leopard) and the beautiful impala. The Serengeti supports the largest concentration of plains game in Africa and is famous for its lion and leopard populations. The Seronera area, rich in wildlife, features the Seronera River, attracting various species. Look out for lion prides and the Serengeti "Kopjes," granite boulders providing shelter to diverse flora and fauna. We enjoy a picnic lunch during the day-long game drive, with dinner and a restful night at our comfortable lodge. Lodge Accommodation (Picnic Lunch & Dinner)

Today, we explore the central part of Serengeti National Park, known for excellent game viewing. This area provides easy access to wildebeest migration hotspots and is home to a high density of leopards, cheetahs, and lions. Lodge Accommodation (All meals)

This morning, we enjoy a relaxed breakfast before departing around 09h00 for the northern Serengeti. The drive to Kogatende will include a game drive with sightings of resident wildlife. Kogatende, in the northern reaches of Serengeti National Park near the Mara River, is home to zebras, topi, gazelles, buffaloes, leopards, and lions. We have our picnic lunch during the drive and depending on our arrival time, we have the chance to spend a few hours at the Mara River. The day concludes with dinner at our next comfortable lodge. Lodge accommodation (All meals).

Our game drive in North Serengeti will reveal stunning landscapes of green rolling hills, granite outcrops, and acacia woodlands dotting the open savannah. We encounter incredible wildlife and witness massive herds of wildebeest and zebra making perilous river crossings. Lodge accommodation (All meals).

After breakfast, we embark on our final morning game drive in Northern Serengeti before heading to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a picnic lunch. The Ngorongoro Crater, the largest collapsed volcanic crater in the world, spans fourteen kilometers of isolated natural beauty. Our eventful day concludes with a wholesome dinner at our next lodge. Lodge accommodation (All meals).

Day 6 - Ngorongoro Crater
We spend time today game driving on the crater floor, which shelters some 30,000 animals, so keeping our camera ready is definitely recommended. Lodge accommodation (All meals).

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
On the last day of our safari, we start with an early breakfast as we will make an early descent at around 06h00 into the crater floor for our last game drive. After our picnic lunch at the beautiful Hippo pool, we begin a steep ascend to the top exit of the crater to start our return transfer to Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport, arriving at approx.18h00 in the evening. With an incredible experience and loads of memories to cherish, we say goodbye to our team before boarding our schedule flight back home. (Breakfast & Lunch)

From January to March, around half a million wildebeest are born here. By March, as the dry season begins, about 1.5 million wildebeest and 250,000 zebras start their migration north towards the Masai Mara in Kenya. They are joined by common elands, plains zebras, and Thomson's gazelles.
The migrating herds pass through this area, moving towards the Masai Mara.
To reach the Masai Mara, the herds must cross the Grumeti and Mara Rivers, which are teeming with around 3,000 crocodiles. During these crossings, for every wildebeest captured by crocodiles, fifty more drown.
As the dry season ends, the herds begin their journey back south.
